Giancarlo tests the EJ12.

Giancarlo Fisichella and Takuma Sato today completed a third day of testing at the Circuit de Catalunya with Jordan Honda in Barcelona.

Fisichella returned to the EJ12 for the first time since last week�s test at Silverstone, completing 33 laps with a best time of 1:21.08. He concentrated on oil systems and cooling set-ups, vibration work for Honda and testing of aerodynamic and general set-up.
His time was the fastest yet by the EJ12 at the Spanish circuit, albeit still over 3 seconds off the pace set by Sauber, the fastest 2002 challenger to date.

Sato ran for 69 laps in the EJ11 and recorded the seventh fastest lap time of 1:20.34. He lost a few hours of track time due to a fuel problem but spent the rest of the day working on development brakes, front suspension geometry and tyre testing for Bridgestone.

The drivers will complete Jordan Honda�s four-day test in Barcelona tomorrow, before going to Valencia for a three-day test next week.
