Morning

All mornings must come
Let us save this one, only this one
Forever always this moment is ours
The silence just right this minute
Sunny light beginning
A golden haze accumulating
Eyes slightly adjusting
Drifting toward one another
Comfort in touch, glory in love
Listen for the graze of movement
The twisting bodies of boys to awaken
Sleepy sighs tangled with comfy blanket
Toes tucked seek sleep warmth
And we smile, come awake slow smiles
Then waking at once to earths bright light
Our chosen paths crossed with life
Suddenly silently standing aside us
One dark, one light; both sets of eyes half mast Cozy with warmth of winters sleep
They come to us, our boys of night
All mornings must come
Just let us save this one!!!
