Mating takes place usually at night,while the female is in heat,which happens every 4 days.The male and female rolls into a tight ball.
18 days later,the young are born.Please do not touch them,or the mother may eat them.Fathers in Winter Whites may take care of them,though not all do.Below are my nursing mums.
But for people in to breeding,please only breed hamsters with good temperament and health and never breed those with genetic defects.Do not breed for only 1 characteristic but make sure the hamster has all the good characteristic before you breed them
