| Scheduling and Substitute Procedures |
| Altar Servers are usually scheduled to serve the Mass they most prefer to attend. If they have a second and/or third preferences the Altar Servers will be scheduled accordingly. |
| Occasionally, due to inadequate coverage, Altar Servers may be rotated into a scheduled Mass which they do not normally attend. |
| Substitutes: |
| For any unforseen absences which arise after the schedule has been prepared, the Altar Server must arrange for a substitute by contacting another altar server who would be willing to fill-in. |
| Scheduling Weekend Masses: |
| Besides being a regular scheduled Altar Server, please readily be available to help substitute for others who cannot keep their appointments |
| Scheduling Weekday Masses: |
| During the school year, the weekday, 9am Mass schedule will be on a rotating basis. Please check your altar serving schedule often so that you will not forget the days you are to fulfill your commitment in altar serving |
| Schedules are prepared to assure that each Mass has the required number of servers available. |
