Issue One - Gay/Lesbian Youth Groups on Campus
Some school districts have combatted the high rate of teen suicide amongst Gay/Lesbian youth by initiating on-campus support groups.  Will you support existing groups in your district or help to initiate them if they don't exist?

Issue Two - Sex Education
SFV NOW's young feminists have reported to us just how woefully inadequate their textbooks are.  Some are so old that they are from the era when scientists thought that women could not get AIDS!  We want to know what you will do to insure that youth get the best scientific and objective sex education curriculum available.

Issue Three - Child Support Enforcement
SFV NOW wants to insure that California's re-arrangement of the bureaucratic arrangement by which child support is collected is not simply the same old game with a different agency name.  We want support issues in Family Law courts placed on FAST TRACK to insure that women and children don't get shunted aside as civil courts get priority for primarily business related litigation.

Issue Four - Domestic Violence
SFV NOW has highlighted the cases of Consiglio Angelo Farrugia, who has repeatedly escaped prosecution for acts of violence and Robert Leo St. George, a parolee from his attempted murder conviction who has been accused of stalking an SFV NOW member ever since he got out of prison.  The common theme as why to the authorities seem to fail to take action in these cases:  they are rich, white males. We want to know what you will do to insure that every victim of violence sees the perpetrator get their day in court.
