There will be one official video sharing session during 401 (you may choose to do more videos and use them as discussion starters with your FA, SA and/or classmates). Permission forms must be sent out as soon as you begin your work in your classroom so that you will be able to tape during 401/2.

During the last week (November 26-30), please come prepared to share a critical moment in your video lesson (a five to ten minute video clip). Often we learn the most by showing a portion of our videos that did not go as we anticipated, acknowledging that this can be a risk. Please have a focus for observation ready for your module audience and come prepared with questions to stimulate discussion. Kate and Ray will give you a template that you can use to help the process.

We ask that you also prepare a brief written reflection about your video in which you identify areas of strength and areas requiring further growth. Please include an action plan describing how you intend to address those areas requiring further growth (a look ahead to 405). Please also include any suggestions arising from the group discussion.

The due date for the video written reflection will be during the last week. Please click here to see the new updated version of the 401/2 schedule.
