Hi!!! I am Furba Thilay Sherpa. I belong to the Sherpa ethnic group, yes, the same Sherpa who are known the world over for their bravery, sincerity and mountaineering skills. Although I am a Buddhist, I equally respect the values and philosophies of all other religions. According to the Sherpa calendar, my astrological sign is Dragon and by “Western” astrology, it is Libra. I first stepped on earth on the 4th of October 1977 in a remote eastern part of Nepal (shyama-4, dolakha, Janakpur). My family relocated to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, when I was very young and I have lived here ever since. I have studied management at college. I also have a Diploma in Computer Science. Currently, I am engaged in my construction business. If you are curious as to how I look, I’d say I’m pretty well built and pleasant looking. I stand at 5’11’’ and weigh 174 lbs (79 kg.), black eyes, and black hair ... I think appearance does count but it is your intelligence and personal values that define who you are.
As far as my personality is concerned, I am an easygoing, fun-loving and practical guy. I enjoy hanging out with my closest friends and make fun of each other. I am not a very talkative person and it takes me some time to adjust to new people. But I am sure that you won’t regret being my friend.
In my spare time, I like to listen to Music, watch movies, ride my Harley Davidson (I wish!), and play Pool, Billiard and Chess. Depending on my mood, I listen to all genres of music ranging from Classical to Reggae to Hip Hop. I like going out to Clubs, Concerts, Movies and Restaurants. My favorite sports are Basketball, Soccer and Walking. Hey you got game? Then bring it on! I am a freely thinking person. I am a strong advocate of the “live and let live” philosophy. I like to be friendly with all people not just for the sake of it, but because I sincerely believe that everyone deserves to be treated in a friendly manner. [What goes around comes around.]
I feel that any relationship must be based on mutual respect, trust and understanding. We should be open with our feelings. I’ve seen many relationships fail because of misunderstandings that occur when people are not open about how they feel about certain things. We need to be positive in our thinking and attitude. If we learn to support and encourage each other every step of the way, it can surely lead to a long and healthy relationship and it goes on bla bla bla bla bla bla................![]()
