| The initial SF&SA layout in the garage. Dust plus the heat in summer and cold in winter caused too many problems. Trying to keep clean, critters building nests in the tunnels, warping track and unfavorable working conditions, even with a small window a/c unit, resulted in finally moving inside the house to a spare room. |

| The Christmas Layout of 1998 asked for by the boys that restarted the Model Railroading bug and ended up with the construction of the N-Scale SF&SA RR. From Lionel O-Gauge, to HO Scale and finally N-Scale, plus now a SF&SA G-Scale Garden Division. |
