27 December 2002 Hope you all had a merry christmas! Today in the sales, i bought the AOM collecters edition, so i will probably get this clan going abit better, and do the frontpage express version of the site. 22 November 2002 A bit of bad news im afraid - because we didn't have many users logging onto www.ageof.tk, we lost the domain name. Also i unfortanetly got hit by the love-bug, so i've been kind of not in the mood for playing games. However, this clan will still be around, and ill still organise it, and sort out the webpage and stuff, but Nickolas and Jon Nyberg will be doing the recruiting and stuff. See you soon hopefully! 13 October 2002 Well during the long gap, i have got frontpage express, and have been building loads of cool sites. I might decide to start creating the site in frontpage, althaugh I shall leave this here. This may be the last update i do on geocities. Stay tuned folks! 10 September 2002 I have finally done the intro page, althaugh geocities can't seem to handle the music that i uploaded... Also, im ashamed to say, due to me being very busy etc, i have only managed to play 5 games of AOM, 2 against the computer, then 3 against humans. The gods i have played with are in this order: Hades, Odin, Hades, Set, Isis. I managed to finally win against a human, so now i have won 1/3 games! I didn't think i would win, but it just shows, in AOM, its far more fair then AOE2! 19 August 2002 Around 11:28 my AOM game came. I can't tell you much about it, cause that would be illegal, but i will tell you its cool! I was thinking of having a battle report page, so i could share my battles with you, however, that would mean giving away secrets, that im not going to give away. I was also thinking of making an individual member page for each member, but that would take quite a long time, so i was thinking of getting someone else to do it. If i had frontpage express i wouldn't mind doing it, but this geocities page created is abit limited, and can take quite a while do stuff. I will however maybe change the intro, so it will have a short movie or animation (done by Dan probably), then an option to go to one of two pages, the real history, which is the current intro, or a fictional history, which i will make up. After that, it will link to the news page. I will also get a banner for this site - also maybe made by Dan. I did try to get www.ageof.tk and www.sfrf.tk for this site, and everything was OK, but for some reason, i didn't get the start up email ?! I will try again sone, when i next have the option. I will get back with more news, when i have something important to say - and keeep checking this site and the clan email all! 14 August 2002 As you may know, we got a router a few weeks ago, so now i have a super fast DSL connection :P, but i was expeirencing problems with the zone. However some bloke told me how to fix the problem, so it should work, and im oging to test it after this. I am also going to ask Nickolas and Dan to help me with the page, as they have Flash tools and stuff like that. Im also going to get www.sfrf.tk and www.gs.tk if they are still available. These sites will go directly to this site. I have also made this font smaller, as these pages are so small, i can't fit much writing onto it. On another note, i should be getting the alpha version of AOM and day now..... and also im not sure if this game will be on the zone, it may be on a in built server, similier to RTCW, but i hope they do a better job at it than RTCW. See you later all! 22 July 2002 Not much news to report etc - other than i got selected as an official AOM alpha tester - i get to play on the game months before most people! Im so lucky! I also got another website www.neil-uk.tk which is like a link site, which links to some of my sites etc, including this one. I have not updated in a while, because I had problems with Java - i couldn't open this page builder thingy, but now i have sorted it out at last! 19 May 2002 Phew... Lots of hard working on this site finally finished! I lost the normal main page some how - so i created it all from scratch. I have also sorted out some stuff, and add another page to the new archive. I decided the old image of me was rubbish, so searched for some new pictures. I only used the old picture because it had a wolf and a knight in the same picture. I found a few good pcitures of knights, and to my surprise they were all by the same artist - and that artist is the same artist who did the old pic! His email is: [email protected] and i have asked him for his permission to use his pictures, but i have not had a reply yet, as i sent the email a few mins ago. See you later! |
