In my opinion there have been some absolutely sensational Doctor Who novel releases. It?s such a great same that they are limited to only text. If we look at the very first Big Finish audio release ?The Sirens of Time? ,we are presented with a story that aside from the cliff hangers and return of the Timelord (in 3 forms) a very average ,dull adventure. Now don?t get me wrong ,it?s great to see the show back in ?some? form ,but this will never be a way to get the programme into the ?Now?
With the technology of today Doctor Who should not be limited to live action series ,big American telemovies or audio?s ,but a new world of computer animation. It could become a new form in which to present these great text romps (and even missing episodes). Get some cheap voice actors that could impersonate Hartnell ,Troughton ,Pertwee ,T.Baker (most likely needed) and even the rest of the Doctors if necessary. If anyone has seen the DigiDoc convention movie on the net?Do you agree?
