| Shaler Police Blotter From the desk of the honorable Shaler District Justice Robert Dzvonick April 24, 2003 -Brian Lordeon slashes student across face with sewing needle in cafeteria for "annoying him". Ninehouser was student who got slashed and he required 22 stitches. Trail of blood leads from cafeteria all the way to office. Lordeon was not a student at the school but boarded a bus to school and entered the school with no problem. -Dustin Miller and Matt Demas horseing around escalates into a full fledged fight with Miller getting stabbed with an eye glasses case. Demas is arraigned on charges and sent to Schuman while Miller recieved disorderly conduct assault. March 20, 2003 -A Shaler man has been charged with threatening to blow up a Blawnox business and kill its employees, Allegheny County Assistant Police Superintendent James Morton said Thursday. Jason Cafeo, 18, of Heather Drive, was arrested on charges of reckless endangerment, terroristic threats, defiant trespass and disorderly conduct for an incident that occurred Tuesday in the parking lot of Linette Co., Morton said. Cafeo had been fired from the company and employees told police they were afraid he would carry out his threats. An affidavit probable cause indicates that Cafeo was wanted for questioning in connection with his theft of a gun last week at the company. Cafeo's mother told police her son denied taking the weapon. No charges have been filed in that case, but the investigation is continuing. - Three men were held for trial after a preliminary hearing before Shaler District Justice Robert Dzvonick on numerous chargers stemming from an assault on a Shaler man. Ryan Rodney, 18, of Venango Avenue, Shaler, is charged with three counts of simple assault, criminal conspiracy, defiant trespass and two counts of criminal mischief. Michael J. Ford, 18, of Grant Avenue, Etna, is charged with aggravated assault, criminal conspiracy, defiant trespass and two counts of criminal mischief. James A. Buckley Jr., 19, of Pittview Avenue, Reserve, is charged with criminal conspiracy, defiant trespass and two counts each of criminal mischief and simple assault. According to police.... The three men, along with two juveniles, assaulted the victim outside his home along Woodview Drive in Shaler at 9:50p.m. October 20. Police said the attackers punched and kicked the victim in the face repeatedly, smashed his head against a steel lamp post and continued to beat him after he was unconscious. The victim was treated at Allegnhey General Hospital for lacerations to his head and body, received stitches to his face and suffered a fractured rib, a chipped tooth and a concussion. The victimes mother and father also were assaulted when they tried to intervene, police said. The next court date for Ford, Rodney, and Buckley is April 24 in Allegheny County Court. -On another note, senior Carrie Dunmeyer was arrested for indecent exposure after exposing the god awful thing she calls her teeth. She was cited immediately and sentenced to puttin a bag over her head until she gets braces. -Junior Jesstine Harangozo was cited for underage drinking down in Oakland a few weeks ago and is to appear in a court hearing May 20. What makes this story even more interesting has that legends Jason Ritter, Toad, Brian Bell, Tony DiRenzo, and Dave Killian all went to the same party and elouded the cops, cutting down every back road they could think of. Jesstine was transported down to presbytrian hospital in Oakland, where her blood-alchol level was 13%, amazingly though, she came out of the coma two days later. back home |
