| July 2 - 5 - 9, 1999 Friday, July 2nd, it all started at the traditional overnight in Chico at Kevin's mom's house. The announced boat time was 2pm on Saturday, but word got out at Kevin's that the Luxury boat pickup was at 12:30pm at Jones' Valley, so an early start was had by those who were in the know. Marlene showed up in Chico around 10:40am - late, but Kyle was there to be the lead car for her. John and Heather were still in the dark and arrived about 1:30pm at the dock. After all the numerous bags of chips were loaded, and several purchases of ice, all floaties were inflated and kegs were properly stored, we were underway. The ski boat, wave runner, and outrigger had gone scouting all armed with 2-way radios. Our first stop was in a deceiving cove which turned out to be a major thoroughfare on the corner of the McCloud arm, so with radios and an additional scouting run for 2nd opinions, we moved the houseboat up near where the xxxx Creek dumps into the lake--left side of the McCloud arm above the marina. Temps were in the high 80's to low 90's. Rain and cool on Sat. night --gradual warming with HOT weather by Monday. Water level 1051' on 7/2--warm as usual. |

1999 - The crew and gear!

Nice toes, Vanessa; Brian and Karen are birds in the beer nest as Mother Carrie supplies the liquid.

Brian's latest orgasmic technique

Marc cant' resist an attempt at the clevage shot from his own Leina, Karen, Vanessa, and Marlene

We had up to 6 of these this year.

Marc, what would you ever have done during the weekend if you didn't have the dinghi's fuel pump to work on? At least you brought this key this year! Thanks to Marty for 'pumping' all the way home.

Floatilla being towed out for optimum float time w/no exerted energy.

A big crowd at the floatilla!

The Haugen's have a starring role once again

Plenty of food for the hungry

And we have hula hoops too! Go Kyle!!!! Marc on the fun island ???

The children aboard, whoops is that Lucy -- an adult?

Anna hosted a great 4th of July Party in the Penthouse, complete with an invite only list and decorations. We all learned how to sing the shark song!

Looking good Marc & Leina!
