Kevin Neale took over as the Mariners' head coach for the 90-91 season. Unfortunately, he did not have any more success than his predecessor, Rob Gridley, in guiding the Mariners back to their winning ways of old. The Mariners were led by captain Rob Wettengel. Todd Iverson was the top outside shooter, Troy Olsen was a good penetrator, and Dave Santi was the team's best passer. Dave Weinstock, Paul Snifka, Quinn Smith, Mike Veierstahler, Brad Walters, Brad Petrasko, and Alvin Cobb rounded out Coach Neale's squad. Nancy Lester was the manager.
