Alaine Chang The Vegetarian Way is a nonprofit corporation whose mission is to provide support and education to all who wish to live a healthy & compassionate lifestyle. Six annual events: 3 at restaurants, 3 are potluck, educational speakers on health, nutrition, fitness, vegetarian cooking. Vegetarian products are donated by vendors and manufacturers for attendees to taste and rate. Handouts on nutrition, health, products, vegetarianism and recipes are available at each event. Non-vegetarians are welcome to come and learn about the health benefits of a vegetarian lifestyle. A weekly newsletter is emailed out containing news of up-coming vegetarian events, vegetarian recipes, vegetarian products and health & nutritional information. To subscribe send an email to [email protected]. Membership dues support vegetarian events and programs, and offer discounts to local events and restaurants.
