| Federation Medal Of Honor The Medal of Honor is issued to officers after recommendation from the Admiralty and approval by the Federation Council only for extreme cases or courage above and beyond the call of duty in which an Officer, Cadet or Enlisted person risks his or her life for the greater cause to save someone's life. |

| Legion of Merit Issued for dedicated service to the Federation and it's allies. This medal is issued after constant recognition of meritorious efforts to better the Federation and the lives of it's officers along with the well being and operation of it's vessels and starbases. the Legion of Merit is given after a person is recommended by the Admiralty or to the Admiralty in which his or her meritorious efforts are reviewed to warrant the issue of the medal. |
| The Federation Silver Star The silver star is issued for either bravery, gallantry, or services recognized by the Admiralty to be exemplary and rising above the overall call of duty. |

| Prisoner of War The POW Medal is to be issued only to Star Fleet personnel who were taken prisoner and held captive. |
| Distinguished Flying Cross Is awarded to a person who distinguished himself or herself by extraordinary heroism not justifying the award of a Medal of Honor; while engaged in an action against an enemy of the Federation; while engaged in military operations involving conflict with an opposing or alien force; or while serving with friendly allied forces engaged in an armed conflict against an opposing Armed Force in which the Federation is not a belligerent party. The act or acts of heroism must have been so notable and have involved risk of life so extraordinary as to set the individual apart from his or her comrades. |
