Alberens: Humanoid race that has been involved in a bitter 800 year old war with their arch enemies, the Persilliens. The Alberen species joined the United Federation of Planets in 2345 when, the same year the signed a peacy treaty with the Persilliens. In 2376 they declared war on the Persilliens by attacking and almost destroying a Persillien hospital that has orbited Solis 4 for almost a decade. ("An Affair of the State").

"An Affair of the State": Starfleet Engineering episode #1 created by Vawton and Poe. Starfleet Command orders the Second Mobile Engineering Battalion to head to Solis 4 to rebuild an orbital hospital belonging to the Persilliens that was ruined during an Alberen attack. When the MEP arrives peace talks beging.

Both sides came to a discussion very quickly surprising the Captain. However it was all part of Zal Manix's plan to take over the USS Hephetus. Taking the ship hostage with projectile firearms the Alberens set out to make mass weapons. The crew soon retook the ship and illiminated many Alberen Attack Ships destroying the USS Fallbrook in the process. See poster.

Andar, Lt: Starfleet Officer aboard the USS Fallbrook during it's final hour. Ordered to eject the warp core of the ship by Commander Torias Jerale. The man died in the process. ("An Affair of the State").

Bendii Syndrome: A Vulcan disease studied by Lt. T`sveka, that breaks down their emotional control. The cause is unknown and no treatment or cure has been discovered. ("Intentions").

Benton, Admiral Marc: Starfleet Admiral who ordered the MEP to head to Solis 4 and repair a Persillien orbital hospital that had suffered heavy damage by a surprise Alberen attack. Admiral Benton said he was a good friend of Captain McMurphy. ("An Affair of the State").

Canon, USS: Federation starship, Galaxy Class Starship commanded by the father of Commander Torias Jerale. His father had the rank of Captain. ("Intentions").

Carlith, Judy: The assistant tactical officer aboard the USS Hephestus. ("An Affair of the State").

Fal'pri: Humanoid Species, located in the Delta Quadrant. One of their starships was sent through an unstable wormhole into the Alpha Quadrant. The ship badly damaged was send to be repaired by the 2nd Starfleet Mobile Engienering Battalion. ("Intentions").

Fallbrook, USS: Federation starship, Starfleet registry number NCC-98525 and part of the Second Starfleet Engineering Battalion. The vessel is a Sabre Class Starship first launched in 2376 from Starfleet's Utopia Planitia Yards. The Fallbrook's primary mission is to serve as a scout and escort vessel for the USS Hephestus and is usually docked or hoverring around the Mobile Engineering Platform (MEP).

When in a docked position the Fallbrook can be accessed through a flush recessed docking port located in the forward section of the topside of the MEP. Access to the vessel is gained via the MEP's Flight Control Bridge.

The USS Fallbrook was destroyed on it's maiden mission at the command of Commander Torias Jerale, fending off Alberen attacks on the USS Hephestus. ("An Affair of the State").

Hephestus, USS: Federation starship, Starfleet registry number NCC-86159 and part of the Second Starfleet Mobile Engineering Battalion. The vessel is a Mobile Engineering Platform (MEP), second of it's Class. The Hephestus was first launched in 2376 from Starfleet's Utopia Planitia Yards and placed under the command of Captain Edouard Cadogan. Being an MEP the ship has powerful engineering abilities, enabling the crew to repair and even contruct other ships.

Jannen, Lt.: Starfleet Officer aboard the USS Hephestus. She belonged to the Security Departement. ("Intentions").

Kal'Jor: Leader of the Fal'pri starship that was catapulted into the Alpha Quadrant by a wormhole. ("Intentions").

Kal'Min: The Second of Kal'Jor leader of the Fal'pri starship encountered by the crew of the 2nd Starfleet Mobile Engineering Battalion. ("Intentions").

Malcom, USS: Federation Starship that responded to the USS Hephestus' distress call in the Solis Sector. Registy number unknown. ("An Affair of the State").

McMurphy, Captain Patrick: Starfleet Captain that became the commanding officer of the First Starfleet Mobile Engineering Battalion and paid a visit to the Second Starfleet Mobile Engineering Battalion on it's maiden voyage. Captain Patrick McMurphy Jr. is a young irishman from Earth. ("An Affair of the State").

Mobile Engineering Battalion, 1st Starfleet: The First Starfleet Mobile Engineering Battalion is the first of it's kind. Commanded by Starfleet Captain McMurphy. The battalion includes a Mobile Engineering Platform (MEP) and a Steamrunner Class Starship. It received it's first mission in 2376.

Mobile Engineering Battalion, 2nd Starfleet: A member of Starfleet Engineering, the Second Starfleet Mobile Engineering Battalion is alot like the First. This battalion uses a slightly different MEP than the first battalion and has a Sabre Class Starship. The MEP is called the USS Hephestus while the Sabre is called the USS Fallbrook. Commanded by Captain Cadogan the battalion had it's first assigment in 2376.

Persilliens: Humanoid race that has been involved in a bitter 800 year old war with their arch enemies, the Alberens. In order to join the United Federation of Planets, the Persilliens signed a peacy treaty with the Alberens in 2345 only to be attacked by them in 2376. During the first attack the Alberens managed to do significant damage to one of the Persilliens orbital hospital facilities. ("An Affair of the State").

Richmond, USS: Federation Starship commanded by Captain . The Richmond sent a message to Starfleet Engineering requesting help for their computer. Starfleet sent the Hephestus to their aid but upon the ship's arrival, the Richmond was evacuated. It was later discovered that the Chief Engineer of the Richmond, LtCmdr Doormornay had done numerous test on the computer, trying to improve it. His project was too successful and the computer turned onto the crew fearing that it's program would be deleted. ("Act of Euthanasia").

Solis 1: Solis Prime's closest moon. ("An Affair of the State").

Solis 2: The largest yet farthest moons of Solis Prime. ("An Affair of the State").

Solis 3: Class M planet, that became the main Persillien military base after the initial Alberen attacks. ("An Affair of the State").

Solis 4: Class-N planet that has an orbital hospital. The 2nd Engineering Battalion was sent to Solis 4 in 2367 to repair the hospital . The planet was reported to be to support a small population but to contain extremely precious and numerous minerals. ("An Affair of the State").

Solis Prime: Class M planet and the largest planet in the Solis Sector and the location of the Alberen-Persillien Alliance Headquarters before the Revolution. The Alberen took control of this planet shortly after the declaration of war. ("An Affair of the State").

Solis Sector: A small sector at the edge of Federation Space containning three planets. The Solis Sector is home to two different humanoid species. ("An Affair of the State").

Starbase 502: A Federation Starbase that was the location of the USS Hephestus after it was damaged in an Alberen attack. The crew was debriefed and rebriefed. ("Intentions").

Starbase 351: A Federation Starbase where the USS Hephestus underwent minor repairs. ("Ducimus").

Thunder, USS: Federation Starship, first of it's class. ("Intentions").

Tony's Tavern: Bar on Starbase 502 frequented by Captain Edouard Cadogan. ("Intentions").

Trill Joining Council: A council formed of Trills that decides who and who may not become a host.

Wurunjeri, USS: Federation Starship that was at Starbase 502 at the same time as the USS Hephestus. Lt. Zahn transfered from the Wurunjeri to the Hephestus during this encounter. ("An Affair of the State").
