QUALIFICATIONS:

Open to all, Must be 18 years or older

*Fire Police must be 21 or older*

16 and 17 year of age can be a junior member which are exterior firefighters only

Be in reasonable health

A Human Being

Live or work within the boundries of our township.

Out of town applicants will be allowed as long as they are a resident from these bordering towns or townships
Alpha, Bloomsbury (Hunterdon County), Franklin Twp.  Harmony, Lopatcong, Phillipsburg, and Pohatcong.

COMMITMENTS:

State Fire Training Program, FIREFIGHTER I course

Attend monthly meetings (held first Monday of every
month @ 7:30 p.m.)

Attend monthly drills every Monday @ 7:00 p.m.

Respond to emergencies (when available)

All members have to attend 60% of all calls, drills, and meetings to be kept on the active lists

Be willing to help others in the community

The Fire Police does have a mandatory class for its members per New Jersey
