MESSAGE FROM ENCIK JOHN POONG ABDULLAH
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR,
LAYANG LAYANG AEROSPACE SDN BHD

Pilot training is perhaps the most important aspect of the Club's entire history, with many going on to obtain their commercial pilot licenses, graduating from the grass root level of Club flying to Airline.

Part and parcel of aircraft operations are hanger facilities which are essential to the successful economic operation of aircraft With the opportunity to join hands with the Sabah Flying Club on the Hangar Project, another significant milestone has been achieved by the Club where the Club can now take advantage of engineering efficiency and, in particular, obtain better cost benefits over use of the Club's aircraft in order to continually attract trainees and flying enthusiasts. Opportunities will occur in the recruitment of engineering apprentices and ex-service engineering personnel into the general Aviation Industry.

As a further development of the relationship, Layang Layang Aerospace Sdn. Bhd. Hopes to compliment the Club's future plans to increase flying training activities with neighboring Flying Clubs in Brunei and Miri and also support the Club's participation in any major air event organized in the country towards promotion and growth for the State Tourism Industry.
