Introduction

The only web page, that I know of, entirely devoted to me. This is just a brief capsule of who I am and what makes me tick, so to speak. This home page represents my first attempt at a web page and is a work in progress. Along the way you will encounter some pictures. It is why you have stopped by, isn't it? New pictures will be posted as they become available, stay tuned.

The Bio

I was born in New Westminster, British Columbia (a suburb of Vancouver, Canada) on June 29, 1966. I completed grade school, high school, college and a professional program in Vancouver. By trade, I am a Chartered Accountant (it's not as scary as it sounds). I have lived in a number of places over the years, but never being more than twenty five miles from the Pacific Ocean.

Why the big "dumb ass" grin?

This is me arriving late to a staff party. The restaurant was dimly lit, as many restaurants are. Apparently my tardiness allowed someone to get just the right angle to blind me with a flash upon arrival.

Okay, yea, I desperately need to spend some time cropping and formatting these pictures.

Off to the left here is me goofing off.  Well, not really, but after sneaking a keg of beer into a rather sedate picnic, I wasn't really responsible for my own actions now was I?  I cheated here a bit because I actually did crop this picture, mainly to protect the innocent ... hehe. Two clowns were trying to pose for a picture and how was I to know?  Just passing through, thanks!  If you're looking for skin, you should have been here moments after this shot was taken.  It was over 100 F, in the shade, somewhere east of LA.  It wasn't such a sedate picnic, afterall. :)

Over to the right, that was me having a drink before I even ordered dinner.  If the company's picking up the tab, "Hey, grab me another one while you're up."  Actually, I couldn't have been that drunk, I still remember the yummy cinnamon ice cream from that night.  Sounds kinda weird, but it was tasty.

It's kinda fuzzy, but this is me posing for the camera at home ... typical Sunday morning in my faux-country home ... coffee, magazine and boots ... hehe.  There's been a tree removed from out front so there's a little bit more light now than when the picture was taken, in case you were wondering.

Stuff I like to do

I grew up where the men were men and the boys played hockey.  So I played hockey. :)  It's been a little tougher finding an ice rink in California, even with Gretzky's help, but I've managed to stay sane.  I've never really lived far from a ski hill (Whistler in Canada and now, any of the resorts at Lake Tahoe) and have even managed to pick up an instructor's certificate along the way.  Away from the ice and snow, I've been known to play a mean game of tennis.  I generally enjoy being outdoors and love to travel, when it's not called ... work.

I wanna be a geek. But I'm not. Why would I even want to be one. Do I think it's fun? I should try writting an online test application at 1 am in my underwear!
