Every educator has their own beliefs and opinions about education. My teaching philosophy is something I believe very strongly about and take great pride in. I am not a perfect person, and I don't plan on being the perfect teacher. I will strive to educate my students to the best of my ability. I will grow myself and learn many new things.
I will foster equity in excellence for all learners throughout my classroom. I have repect for students and I am sensitive to all learners. I believe every student deserves an equal oppurtunity. I will encourage the use of their talents and skills. Every student is unique and has their own story to tell. Demonstration of appreciation for my students' cultural heritage, unique endowments, learning styles, interests, and needs will be modeled daily. I want to make a connection between curriculum and community cultures. This will create an environment for in which my students can work cooperatively together.
Group learning will be an enormous factor in my classroom. Students not only learn from the teacher, but from one another. Engaging and interacting with one another will enhance the students' quality of education recieved in my classroom.
