| Today is my 3 months PO anniversary. I don't know for sure what I weigh b/c my parents don't have a decent scale, but I'm just going to say that I weigh 179, which would mean that I've lost 50 pounds in 3 months (I was at 180 yesterday)!!! If there were a half-century club, I would be a new member :-) I'm almost half-way to my goal; I have 57 more pounds to lose. My BMI right now is 33.8! I'm really excited about the fact that I can now wear most size 14's (but size 16 is still more comfortable). My waist line does not seem to be shrinking as fast as the rest of me, so the 14's tend to be a little tight in the waist but comfortable everywhere else. As for size 12, I can pull them on but not button or zip them. I hope that means I'll be wearing a size 12 within a month. It would be SOOOOOO cool to be wearing a size 12 for Thanksgiving!!! Getting into size 10, though, is one of my mini-goals. I bought an ab roller today, which is going to help me do sit-ups w/o hurting my back or neck, so I'm hoping that my waist line will start catching up with the rest of me. We will see :-) I still manage to ride my exercise bike for 1 hour and my gazelle for 30 minutes most days. Sometimes, I'm only able to do one or the other, but I try to make up for it on other days. Also, I usually end up working out 6 out of 7 days a week b/c enevitably, there is one day a week where Im so BUSY/ TIRED that I don't have time to workout. I think I'm doing pretty good, though. Bones that I have recently re-discovered: Knuckles (they are huge); Hip Bones (I can feel them but not quite see them, yet); Ribs (I can feel and see them when I'm laying down); Collar Bones (I keep catching myself touching them b/c they feel so cool); Sternum (just discovered last night that I can feel it when laying down); Tailbone (this thing hurts every night when I ride the bike for an hour; it also hurts a little when I sit in the bathtub) Also, all my rings are getting too big for my fingers. I'll probably at least have the nice ones re-sized, but I'll just get rid of the rest. I've finally removed all my old pants from my closet; they are ALL in the get rid of pile (buckets and bags). I haven't had time to go through all my shirts, yet, but I can probably get rid of most them as well. I don't really wear much of my old stuff b/c I like the way I look in the new stuff better; even the stuff that Mom has bought me at the reseale shop. FYI: I'm selling all my clothes for $2 an item if anyone is interested. I need the money to buy a new wardrobe once I get down to my goal, so I figured I would start saving now :-) |
