St. Francis Council was founded in 1962 through the efforts
of the men of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. It is named after St. Francis
of Assisi, who was patron Saint of St. Francis of Assisi Parish. The St.
Francis of Assisi Council works closely with the Parishes of St. Francis
of Assisi and St. Margaret Mary Alacoque in Oakville MO., providing funds
for various projects and charitable organizations, members being active
participants in their parish.
