1995-96 Summary
  The 1995-96 season proved to be a more successful one for both the Mariners program and for first year varsity coach Michael Szydlowski.  St. Francis earned a 4-12 conference record and a 1-2 non-conference record to give them an overall regular season record of 7-15.  The Mariners also finished tied for 6th place in the Parkland Conference of 9 teams.  The Mariners then entered in the WIAA Regionals defeating Lake Mills (58-36) and conference rival Pewaukee (51-47), but lost to Cambridge in the Regional finals by a score of 69-32.
   The 95-96 season was a very memorable one for the Mariners.  Junior Jenna Maier broke many previous Mariner records, finished 3rd in the conference in scoring (256 - 16.0), rebounding (167 - 10.4), and field goal percentage (47%).  Jenna also finished 5th in the conference in free throw percentage (68%) and also led the team in rebounds with 167.  Another leader for the Mariners was Wendy Gagnon.  Wendy was 2nd in scoring for the Mariners with 168 points, she also finished 1st in the Parkland Conference in free throw percentage (86.7%) and was 2nd in 3 point field goals made (20).
   The Mariners consisted of Jessica Gates, Julie Donnelly, Justine Donnelly, Trina Gonzalez, Julie Boglitsch, Kerry Miller, Andrea Heger, Barb Kizaric, Wendy Gagnon, Jenna Maier, Renee Jones, and Michelle Heger.
Jamie Wier, Jessica Hornik, Lisa Lockwood, and Kristi Pieterick also contributed for the Mariners in the regional games.
