1982-83 Summary
  The 1982-83 season was the climax of the girls' basketball program at St. Francis High School.  This was the last season that a team finsihed with a +.500 record and a regional championship.  These Mariners finished the regular season with a 16-2 record (14-1 conf., 2-1 non-conf.), losing to New Berlin West
(34-47) and to Milwaukee Pius (24-68).  New Berlin West and St. Francis would both finish the regular season with a 14-1 conference record and each with a share of the Parkland Conference-Western Division Championship.  During the regular season, Lynn Dusold would lead the way with 241 points, 192 rebounds, and 12 blocked shots.  Lynn's 192 rebounds would place her 2nd in the Parkland Conference in rebounds.
Rounding up the 82-83 Mariners were Lynn Dusold, Ziemer, Judi DeGroot, Kelley Derrick, Roberta Dorlack, Carol Matusinec, Carol Dusold, Jodi Longstaff, Dorthy Fischer, Sue Engevold, and Christine Murphy.
