1975-76 Summary
  In both Coach Stozyk and St. Francis High School's first season with girls' basketball, the Mariners finished the year with a 6-11 record.  This season would be a memorable one for the Mariners, including a win in the very first game St. Francis High School played in (Franklin, 38-27).  The Mariners were led by Sue Makowski, Mary Polasek, and Debbie Brauner.  Brauner would lead the team with her skills for shooting free throws and rebounding.  She was 2nd on the team in rebounding (145).  Debbie set school records this year, (all of which stand to this date) for the most free throws in a game (10, 51-39 win vs. Greendale), most free throws attempted in a game (18, 51-39 win vs. Greendale), and for the most total rebounds in a game (20, 27-20 win vs. New Berlin West).  Mary Polasek led the 75-76 squad with 162 total rebounds and 179 points.  She too would set a school record which she still keeps today, she set the record for the most defensive rebounds in a game with 17, in a 27-20 win vs. New Berlin West.  Sue Makowski was second in scoring for the year with 159 points. 
   The first Mariner girls basketball roster consisted of Debbie Artymiuk, Debbie Brauner, Debbie Gardetto,
Judy Kender, Sue Makowski, Mary Polasek, Debbie Polster, Mary Beth Sobie, and Karen Whalen.
