| To Touch God miles from home with no lover of my own i feel so alone yet i know i'm not because there is a God who has never left me He is the ultimate Lover of my soul my true Constant in this ripple of chaos and i want to feel His arms around me His touch surround me i want to look into the eyes of Him who made me to feel His love embrace me and i want to hug the One who saved me who endured my torturous stain my punishment of pain oh Lord! come again Quickly! and receive me to my heavenly home the anticipation thrills me and makes me wish i was already there able to touch the One who made me to hug the One who saved me and live eternally in that hug - Chad M. | Failed Attempts Too often these failed attempts have caused great frustration, but recently they are cause for joyful revelation. For through these rejections of my expressed affections I am being drawn to my First Love again: the One who made me, the One who saved me, the One who brought life to my dead soul. Further contemplation reveals another revelation, namely that I am already blessed, for God already made a decision. And if it is not she, whom I think greater than rubies, how much greater must the one be whom the Lord has in store for me. - Chad M. Seybt |
