The milky way shone brighter than before,
And the angels came out in filmy gossamer gowns,
With pink sashes at their tiny waists,
With a sprinkling of twinkling stars shining down!

How glorious were the words you told to me!
You told me of your love~
And happiness was like a lush waterfall,
That opened up to me from the heavens above!

Oh, how sweet was the feeling,
That beloved now was I~
That a thousand violins began to play,
And cupids filled the sky!

For there is no happiness,
That could ever compare~
To knowing that our hearts beat as one,
