This was an elizabethan gown that I made from scratch, but was new to garb'ing and wasn't at all accurate with materials, and following a single country's way of dress, instead picking what I liked about different styles and putting them together. (*note the obvious german sleeves attatched to an elizabethan corset dress!! EEEKK!)


This 15th Century style Flemish gown is my first attempt at something Historically ACCURATE. I used wool look alikes (just to hot in TX for the real stuff), linen in 2 weights (hankerchief weight for my square neck gored smock, and for my caul and regular weight linen for my kirtle and partlet).
