Scott is happiest when he has a perch to look down from.

Finally, the entrance to the cave! Time to look inside.
Kimber is pointing to the sign at the entrance to the caves. The gate is there to protect the cave from unscheduled visitors or people who would destroy the cave.
This is one of the large formations in the Slaughter Canyon Cave. Its called the Clansman. The white covering of the rock is called flowstone which is made out of minerals carried and deposited by the water dripping over the rocks.
Scott spotted this fossil on the hike up the canyon.
