     into the classroom while also addressing higher-order thinking skills

INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE

 

             Explorica Chaperone, July 2006, 2 weeks

                  One of six chaperones that led a guided tour of Italy and Greece for thirty high school

                students.           

 

             Inlingua Ecos Program, July 2002, 3 weeks

                English immersion course in Marbella, Spain. Instructor of English

                for Spanish youth under the auspices of Opus Dei. Direct instruction

                of the language as well as interactive exercises with the students to

                develop their abilities and assess their strengths and weaknesses.

                Travel included Madrid and Granada. 

 

  Prince of Liechtenstein Fellowship, June 2000, 4 weeks

                  One of 32 students nationwide invited to participate in a month-long forum                                      exploring Catholic philosophy and theology. Gained critical analytical and leadership                       skills as well as scholastic perspective via seminars, debates, and informal                                       discussions with visiting professors and church dignitaries. Travel included Vienna,                       Prague, Venice, Assisi, and Rome.
