others are doing milgiri ( exercises with the heavy India clubs)
The Zurkhaneh : The zurkhaneh ( lit. houseof strength) is the traditional gymanastic club of Iran, which is unique to this country. The origins of these clubs are unknown, but it islikely that they date back to the pre-Islamic times. The aim of the zurkhaneh was and is not simply to produce good athletes. Many Iranians regard the zurkhaneh as a source of physical and spiritual training).
