THE ADVERTS were a lot more than one chord wonders and will always be a big favourite for me being the first punk band I ever seen in the flesh and without a doubt one of the best punk bands I've seen in 30 years. They hit a true peak of their greatness with classics like 'Gary Gilmore Eyes' and 'No Time To Be 21' However the punk bubble burst in '79 after more tours of toilets.
