Why 7Thursday?
This is the most FAQ....After deciding to scrap the name "SOL" after AQ(Anime Quest) 2002, the band was nameless for quite a while. And during those times, we were practicing our original compositions at Aru's house (a.k.a "The HQ") every Thursday. The session usually starts at 4pm and ends at 6 or 6:30 pm. Aru and the rest of the band finishes at 7 pm. That's how it became 7Thursday...Every Thursday at 7!

Aj-ZONE - bass
dawn - drums and percussion
Beige - vocals
Does 7Thursday do more than just cover anime and J-rock?
Absolutely. We were known for performing anime and J-rock songs especially L'Arc~en~Ciel ones, but we also cover Western hardcore music particularly System of A Down. We also have more than 5 original works to boot.
Did the band use any name before?
Yes. We cannot totally say that we disbanded when we changed names. Some members were removed and one was added (dawn). The band first went by the name Module One and after that Artfarm Asia. But then we decided to 'break away' with them and we briefly went by the name Couer d'Enter (french for "heart of hell"), then SOL.
Which member is considered as the band leader?
It would absolutely be Aru, the guitarist. That's why we call him "Bossing". Without him there won't be any 7Thursday. He's most certainly the head honcho and of course the resident heartthrob of 7Thursday.
Which artist would the band consider as its main influence?
Each member has his own influences, but one band, I dare say, really influenced all of us very greatly: L'Arc~en~Ciel. I suppose Aru and Aj-ZONE would contest my opinion, but I firmly believe that L'Arc~en~Ciel is our main influence. My vocal style, I admit, was mainly influenced by hyde's, and Dawn's style is clearly a reflection of yukihiro's. Aj-ZONE's highly exceptional bass playing is reminiscent of tetsu's, and Aru's lead guitar playing is, in one way or the other, also reminiscent of ken's (although Aru's main influence in guitar playing is Slash of GNR fame
