Now i know alot of people hate Buffy. But as you can see, i dont. while i dont really care for Buffy herself, i believe that the show has one of the greatest supporting casts. each character influences the show much more than Buffy does. Although the show centers around her, the other characters are the ones who make the show so great. without them it would be boring and quite less than funny. I do pay attention to the Willow/Tara storyline more than others but it is not totally because of the fact of their relationship. the even possiblity of there being a televised lesbian relationship was, up until very recently, and impossible idea. i am much endowed to Joss, Amber and Alyson for taking the chance to make it possible on national television. It is very brave of them and i am sure they have recieved alot of support for the risk they are taking. it is very admirable for them to portray people very unlike themselves. Kudos for the Wiccans!!
But on a lighter note: everyone else deserves a kudos or two as well. as much as i hate her, Anya does make the show very interesting. When her character was added, it gave the show a new flair, which at times can be overbearing, still gets me to laugh every tuesday night. Plus her antics with Xander are pretty funny. Spike in his own right is a riot to watch, his infectious "kiss my ass" kind of personality being almost inspiring... Overall, i must say i am proud to be a little more than interested in the show that everyone seems to hate! i mean where else can you see such interesting plot developments and parallels to actual society? Unless of course your a fan of ER or something. but hey- this is a bit more interesting!! And the sex jokes are so much better!!!
