Seven days formed back in April 1994 under the name "Blackwall". Originally they were seen as a heavy metal band due to excess hair, loud crunching guitars and the "screaming in key" style vocals. Although there was a fondness for heavy metal in the group, there was also a growing love for the more mellow styles of music.
The bands singer/songwriter/guitarist Colm Geoghegan began to see a pattern energing in the styles of music he was listening to. He set out to merge his love for all things heavy and dynamic with his growing passion for melody and pop styles.
Early 1998,original bass player Tom Moran left the group due to musical differences. The split was amicable. By the end of the year the group had found a new bass player who shared their opinions and influences and also brought his own unique playing style into the fray.

Ronan Hayes first met Colm and Michael(Martin-b.voalist/guitarist) through an art portfolio course in Dundrum,Co.Dublin near the end of 1998. He slotted into the band musically and has also become a great friend and drinking buddy. Now, almost eight years after their incarnation and hundreds of songs written, Seven days have become a force to be reckoned with.
