'Goreans' aren�t unblemished and protected from the seedier part that lives inside every human. A human is neither saintly or without fault nor should they be. They aren�t safe from the posturing, lying and cheating of human nature and in that regard, acts of humanity do not make someone less 'Gorean'.. it does make them human though, which is what 'Goreans' are.
'Gorean's' realize this and don't waste their time trying to pretend they are something they are not, perfect. 'Goreans' are honest with themselves above anyone or anything else.
They don't waste their time with petty issues or bickering about such things as honour. Honour is personal and therefore never has the same deepset meaning from one person to the next nor should it. Discuss yes, bicker.. why waste your time? Honour among thieves is honour indeed.
'Goreans' don't deny themselves because of outward pressure from community or society, they are comfortable with who they are and what they desire. They don't set out their lives strictly to a guideline weaved among a series of books, battling back and forth over what was said and what it really means, that would confine the freedom they so crave.
They are freethinking and strong with the knowledge of themselves. They aren�t about stomping on differences or beating people and their beliefs down, picking and choosing without thought what society is worthy of their time or self proclaimed honour. Society shows its own colours and worth without the need for pompous ramblings about worthiness from others.
Life is for living, that is what these people spend their time doing...
Leave the bickering to those pretending to have a life, it helps with their delusions.
'Gorean' men expose themselves for who they are, strong, loyal men.
They are not lapdog's, not hubbies, not boyfriends, not equals.. simply men with high self standards and the courage to be themselves regardless of what time has done to the essence of many men.
They don't bend to their women, they expose them for who they are, women.
Their women don't bend to societies demands either, rather they live up to the expectations of themselves and the expectations and strength of the men surrounding them. The women do not try to place themselves in the position of men.
These people are responsible for their triumphs and their failures and take both for what they are, lessons in life. They don't shift blame and slink away from their mistakes like cowards.
These people are in tune with their world, it's nature, their nature and everything it offers.
They don't compromise who and what they are for anyone or anything.
They are passionate, proud and fiercely aware of themselves and those around them.
They don�t box themselves away from the rest of the society like a band of elitists, they realize everyone has something to offer yet they will not yield to accomodate anything less than a high standard. They dont need the approval of others to be who they are. The ones who do are only a shadow of real people although this is how you will most likely first come across the many who wear false labels.
Real people dont live by labels.
They don�t have to..
They don�t need to...
Because it is not something you be and it is not something you wear.
It is something you are.
And it needs no 'Gorean' label.
Life is for living.
