I had to do this sketch for a collage I did for class. Unfortunately, the collage is missing. If I find it, I'll put it up. The collage is supposed to express some type of metaphor. I had a woman playing the violin in the background and this lady right here had a violin lining the sillhouette of her back.
The metaphor is "a woman's body is as sensual as a violin and its music." Kinda tacky, but I did my assignment. And yes, I do believe that, and I love violins as well. Hehe. Oh, and incase you're wondering, no, it wasn't taken from a photograph or a live model. Honestly, I think the drawing is anatomically incorrect. But then again, a real woman's body probably isn't as perfect as we imagine. I just tried to draw a woman off the top of my head for the assignment.
