It was, once again, another uneventful day at the G-Boy mansion.
Duo, Heero, Trowa, and Wufei were all playing Mario Kart 64 in the den, something that Duo had gotten them all into after buying the game system along with four multi-coloured controllers.
How strange, Quatre thought, as he watched them play. Not interested in all this violence of shooting red and green shells at the racers in front of you, Quatre was leaning against the back of the couch, quietly observing each boys driving techniques.
Duo, with the clear-plastic orange controller, was a sneaky racer. Hoarding up tons of weapons in his cart, he usually waited until the last minute before he released his supply of projectiles, picking off all the boys one by one. He was being Yoshi. And most of the time he won.
Heero, with the black controller, was being the Princess, after accidentally pressing the wrong button on the character choice screen. He was not very good at steering, but once he acquired a shell, watch out. He could usually aim and shoot down a racer from very far off. Even when the racer was behind him.
Trowa was, by far, the worst driver, on a par with Wufei. Holding the jungle green controller and driving Koopa the Turtle, he was no match for the more powerful racers; he was often being seen bumped into a ditch, or occasionally down a cliff, etc. Trowa didnt really care. Slow and steady completes the race, was his philosophy.
Wufei, of course, was being Bowser with his bright yellow controller. While everyone accelerated ahead at the start of the race, he was still put-putting his slow way along the lanes, blocking the way for everybody. By the time he reached maximum speed, it was always too late.
"Move your fat butt outa the way!" Duo cried as he lapped Wufei for the second time.
"Why, you little" Wufei answered, but there was nothing he could do about it. Instead, a red shell came whizzing out of nowhere and slammed into Duos cart, making him totally spin out.
"Noooo!" Duo cried as Wufei, and then Heero passed him. Far behind, Trowa was still being fished out of a ditch.
"Good one, Heero," Wufei said, smirking.
Then Heero unleashed another shell. It hit Wufei.
"What?" Wufei cried, in shock.
Heero gave one of his rare smiles as he whizzed passed Wufei. He was almost to the finish line.
Nobody noticed Trowa. He went his slow way along until he ran over an icon box. He waited patiently for the items to randomly scroll along, then stop. He looked at his weapons box. He got a lightning bolt.
Trowa casually pressed a button.
Instantly, on-screen, everybodys carts, besides Trowas, shrunk down to pint-sized little bugs.
Trowa coolly ran them over.
"Noooooo!" Duo and Wufei cried together. Heeros grip tightened on the controller.
They all watched, shocked, as Trowa won the race.
Duo held his head. "I cant believe Ive been beatenby a turtle."
While everyone was moping, the doorbell rang.
"Ill go get it," Quatre said automatically. It was routine. When the doorbell rang, let Quatre answer it.
Quatre left the room and sauntered down the hall. Who would be over at a time like this?
He could hear a buzzing sound as he walked. It got louder the closer he came to the door.
Pausing at the door, Quatre looked through the view hole.
He fainted.

"Whats taking that kid?" Wufei asked irritatingly.
"Ill go look," Duo said, and pressed the pause button. Everyone raised their arms above their heads in frustration as the game was halted.
Duo walked to the front door, Wufei close behind, probably wanting to punish whoever it was.
Duo casually stepped over Quatres prone body and opened the door.
"Hi!"
Duo slammed the door, leaning his back against it. His face was red and his heart pounded wildly in his chest. Was it just him or were there twenty-nine girls standing on their front stoop?
"What is it?" Wufei asked, impatient, when the doorbell rang again.
Reaching past Duo, Wufei opened the door.
He was met by a blur of hair and perfume.
"This must be Wufei!" he heard some girls high-pitched voice say, and then the next minute, he was wrapped in a bundle of arms and legs.
"What?"
He didnt get very far as twenty-nine pairs of lips smooched him on the face. Then the blur of arms and legs migrated over to Duo.
Duo didnt resist. He just sat there, wondering how he died and came to heaven. When the girls were done, tweety-birds were orbiting Duos head.
"Oh, look, its our little brother!"
They all swept towards Quatre, still lying unconscious on the front mat, and carried him to his room.
"Wow, what just happened?" Duo asked, head still in the clouds.
When Wufei finally realized what had passed, his body shook with rage.
"Women!"

Quatre was awake but his eyes were still closed. For some strange reason, he could smell the exotic scents of his homeland and this made him very happy. So he just lay on his soft mattress for awhile, trying to relive old memories.
Until someone pinched his face.
"Ow," he whimpered, rubbing his cheek. He opened his eyes.
Twenty-nine pairs of eyes stared back at him.
Quatre quickly closed his eyes, hoping this was all a dream. Some memories were best left as memories.
"Oh, look, hes awake!"
Someone ruffled his hair.
Quatre stared at all his sisters (not an easy thing to do) and grinned back weakly. They all flashed him their dazzling smiles.

"Woah, whore all the babes?" Duo asked, peeking through Quatres door.
Trowa, standing behind him, said, "They are Quatres sisters."
"What?" Duo said. "All of them?"
"Yes."
Duo looked again. All of them were of Arabian descent and all of them were extremely beautiful.
Duo sighed. "Man, hes so lucky."

"So, what brings you all nice enough to visit me?" Quatre asked, looking a little frantic. He was lying exposed on the bed, twenty-nine pairs of hands ready to pinch him for his cuteness.
"Oh, we were getting bored," said Miranda, "so we decided to pay you a surprise visit. I hope you dont mind."
"Oh, not at all," Quatre said politely, crossing his fingers behind his back.
"And look," said Lina, "we bought you gifts!"
She lugged over a humongous suitcase. Quatre, a little curious, sat up on the bed to see. Lina popped open the suitcase and waved him over. Quatre looked.
Row upon row of pink shirts and purple vests beamed up at him from the overstuffed suitcase.
"We each got you one, just to be fair," said Zita. "And look, theyre all different styles!"
Mina held several up to show him. Indeed, each had a slight variation from the other, may it be puffier sleeves, gold trimmed buttons, or sewn-in patterns on the collars. But they were all basically the same thing. Pink shirt and purple vest.
All Quatres sisters gazed at him expectantly.
"Uh, thank you," Quatre said, trying not to cry.
"Oh, we knew youd love them!" Larissa said, and they all gave him one big group hug. Quatre was smothered in kisses. He couldnt breathe.
When they were finally done ten minutes later, Quatre straightened himself and tried to regain his composure. Lipstick marks of all colours covered his entire face. He looked a little frazzled.
"Well," he said, clearing his throat. "Why dont I show you to your rooms?"
Walking to the door, he made some mental calculations in his head. Even with the large mansion, no way could he possibly fit twenty-nine girls under the same roof. Especially when each requested their own bathroom.
Quatre sighed.
From the doorway, he could see Duo standing there, no doubt eavesdropping and hearing all about Quatres misfortune. Quatre thought Duo would make fun of him because of his new (or, rather, same) wardrobe but instead he looked at Quatre and with total sincerity in his voice, asked, "Can they stay in my room?"
With no hesitation, Quatre said, "No."
"Please?" Duo begged, clinging onto Quatres arm.
"No."
"What if I promised to do your laundry and shrunk all your shirts to underwear-size so you wouldnt have to wear them?" Duo whispered in his ear.
Quatre thought for a moment.
"No," he said, and continued walking down the hall. Duo tried tempting him with all manner of things, such as letting him pilot his deathscythe for a day, or free tickets to Hawaii. They got more and more improbable as they went and when Quatre finally reached the guest room, he had to plug his ears to ignore Duos desperate babbling.
Maybe he could fit five of his sisters into this room, Quatre thought. He looked doubtfully at the two-sink bathroom, and judged about how many make-up accessories the shelves could take before they collapsed.
Duo saw where Quatre was looking and said, "I have a bathroom they could use too, if you like."
Quatre shook his head. Duo just never gave up.
Quatre walked over to the windows and opened the curtains, letting the sunlight in.
"I have a window with a really nice view."
Quatre continued to the bed, Duo stepping on his heels like a shadow. Quatre started arranging the bed sheets and Duo helped him.
"You know, I have a bed too."
Quatre threw a pillow at him and went out the door.
He stopped. His sisters were wandering around the hall, looking at the miniature gundams on display or peeking into the other boys rooms. When Duo saw all those girls looking through his doorway, he started walking in that direction, ready to welcome them in. "Hi, my name is Duo and youre all invited to stay---"
Quatre clamped a hand over Duos mouth and, dragging him by his braid, started looking for the other boys. A few of Quatres sisters giggled at the spectacle and waved at Duo. Duo waved back, his feet digging into the carpet.
Quatre thumped down the stairs, Duo bumping along behind him.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I absolutely refuse!"
Wufei thumped his fists on the table, making their coffee cups dance.
The five boys were seated around the kitchen table, looking as if they were planning an OZ break-in. A few of Quatres sisters looked up from the commotion, then continued playing the video game that they had taken over. When Duo and Quatre found the rest of the boys, Heero, Trowa, and Wufei were standing around the den in confusion, wondering how this plethora of girls had suddenly taken over their house. Wufei was still wincing every time one of them walked past.
"But itll only be for" Quatre stopped. How long had his sisters said they would stay for? They hadnt told him and Quatre was afraid to ask. He didnt think he wanted to know the answer. "for as long as is necessary."
"Which is how long?"
"For as long as is necessary."
Wufei moaned and held his head in despair. After Quatre had explained the situation, the first topic that came up was lodgings and, unless Wufei wanted to share a room with four other girls, he would have to give his up. Which meant sharing a room with four other boys. He moaned again.
"Now Ill be stuck with you guys." He glanced at Duo. Duo grinned and waved back. Wufei growled, "I dont know which is worse."
"You know, as I said before," Duo piped in, elbows on the table, "if I shared a room with some of Quatres sisters, then you guys could live in more comfort."
"You can say that again," Wufei snapped.
"No." Quatre didnt trust Duo with anyone of his family, especially if they were of the female persuasion. Girls and Duo meant certain disaster. "Were all sharing a room and thats final."
Duo pouted and leaned back on the chair with two legs, putting his feet up on the table. If there were no girls, then there was nothing more to talk about.
"Whos room?" Heero asked for everybody. With Quatres sisters taking up most of the bedrooms, they had to stay somewhere.
"Mine."
Everybody looked at Wufei, surprise written on all their faces. Since when did Wufei willingly give up something that belonged to him and share it with everyone else?
Wufei glared around the table. "Well, it was either you weaklings or the girls." Apparently, Wufei thought that girls were worse.
"Well, its settled then." Quatre stood up. Everybody else followed suit, except for Duo, who had been looking out the patio doors at Quatres sisters, lounging around and sunbathing. Duo looked out further, to catch a better glimpse of them, then leaned too far forward and his chair tipped, spilling him on the ground in a heap. The chair bonked on his head. Usually, Quatre would have run over to aid Duo but this time, he thought that Duo deserved it.
"Lets get packing," Quatre announced and walked upstairs to gather his belongings. Behind, Duo was still struggling with the chair.
"Hey, wait up," he called after them. He stuggled some more, then happened to glance outside. Nevermind, he thought, and decided to just lay on the floor and watch the girls.
When he was done, he left a large drool mark on the plankings.
