The Story of Yuyu Hakusho is practically a kid, Yusuke Urameshi, who gets hit by a car and is offered a chance to get his life back. Yusuke accepts this offer and gets his life back, but in turn as a favor for the Spirit World he has become a Spirit Detective. His best friend Kuwabara joins him on his mission and soon recongizes himself as a Spirit Detective as well.
Yusuke's first to mission are against Hiei and Kurama, whom after he beat joined him as Spirit Detectives as well.
