The basic story to Rurouni Kenshin is that:
Kenshin Himura was once the ledgendary Hitokiri Batousi, who killed people for sport, I guess. But now, in the new Area he is a Rurouni living with Kaoru, Yahiko, and Sanosuke. Each espisode is a different danger for the Batousi to face. Some of his enemy's are from his past while others are newer enemy's.
