Lizzard Country Formed in 1996when Seth asked Mike if he wanted to be his bass player. Mike did not know how to play bass, he was a trumpet player who also knew piano and organ. So he said yes. To Mike's dismay, Seth forced him to play Hootie and the Blowfish... all the time.He also brought in John Hiatt, Oasis, The Refreshments, and many songs that they wrote together. They played in Mike's basement for a while until Jul 1999, when Mike finally joined Seth at Cafe Felice in Cuyahoga Falls. They frequented Cafe Felice, VIking VIneyards, various playing parties, played a wedding. They both were also apart of Suns Of Saturn, so it soon came that they could not have both.
On May 18, 2001 they appeared together at the opening of Arabica in Euclid Ohio, then packed up Lizzard Country. |
