Interesting week this has been. went to see the movie swordfish again, still great. my friend john who is the president of the sound engineers local union got me some work as a stage hand for the nsync concert here in detoit. yeah i know nsync... i didnt have to watch the show just set up their shit. so i got paid not less than 16$ an hour to set up their stage and sound equipment. and did it again saturday when i helped pack up their shit. it was a cool experience when i did the "out" (packing) i did their dressing room they bring alot of toys with them. bikes, motorized scooters, weights, arcade games, motorcycles, etc. oh well the money was good and i am going to sell a couple things on ebay, wink. today july 1st is also the 1 and 1/2 year aniversery of tara and i. we went to the olive garden had a good meal and relaxed for the evening. it was a good day.

it amazes me the kinds of fire works you cant buy in michigan. in oklahoma bottle rockets were illegal. this is understandable, but black cats!? the staple explosive of any 4th of july? this is just sick and wrong. its like thanksgiving without the turkey. enough of my rants. this week i went out 3 times to various clubs. tuesday i went to the labrynth. was a decent night not alot of people so it was more relaxed. some guy sitting across frrom me was wearing welders goggles and a surgical mask that was dowsed in some mysterious brown liquid (Huffers = People to cheap to buy real drugs) and all the while he was scribbling like mad into a little book. very odd. on thursday i went to a place called "5th avenue billiards" my favorite radio DJ plays the best in mellow and depressing music in what is called "sugar hiccup wednsday", on a thursday this time because of the 4th of july (obviously). then on saturday i went to my usual spot city club. which was a good evening. i saw stacie there, found out the reason i havent seen here there was that she got into a fight with a bouncer and was banned for 3 months. hmm to bad it wasnt longer. all three of theese places i went to with sarah and leigh my favorite bar buddies, and mike for 2 of 3.

well spent a couple days of this week at a house on a lake boating and drinking. was a good time. sometime next week i will be doing my first recording job mainly its just experimentation. but should be good. saw the movie "AI" this week. i thought it was great. i think stanley kubrick would have been proud of spielbergs job. alot of people didnt like it, alot of people didnt get it. id still recomend it to anyone.

this week i spent 2 days recording a guy doing some songs he wrote. i enjoyed it alot, feels like i am finally takeing a step in the direction i want to go. i was loaned some very expensive microphones from my friend jerry's studio. they and the rest of the equipment were a blast to screw around with. went jet skiing sunday for the first time in several years my legs hurt like a bitch right now. i got 4 tickets to see a band called TSOL (ancient punk band). shiloh and his woman will be coming up to see that with tara and i, that should be fun.

mary (ex girlfriend) came to see me this weekend. nice to see her again we went to the club and the mall and stuff. went to see planet of the apes, i thought it was a good picture. went to a job fair on wed at ups, if they want me it will be for shit work... unloading trucks. but money is money. started beta testing a game called battletech 3025 this week. for those of you who have no idea what beta test means it is when a game company selects a few people to play their game before it is released to look for bugs. i am honored to be able to do it, it is alot of fun. i pick up shiloh and raphella on tuesday morning. i do not think they will be staying long.
