Prologue

"No, InuYasha."
"Please?"
"No. InuYasha. No. No. No. N. O."
"But I have to have an heir!"
"Why?"
"Why?!" InuYasha scoffed at the absurdity of the question and pulled out the Tetsusaiga. "THIS is why. I need an heir to pass this onto after I die."
"Why not just give it away? Im sure someone would want it.... hmm.." Kagome looked at the ground thinking.
"I cant just GIVE it to some person I dont know! This sword has to stay in the family!"
"Why?"
"WHY?! Because it's made of my father and I's fangs and I used it to avenge my Father by killing Ryukossei, that damned dragon that caused his death! That's why!"
"Oh..." She thought a moment more. "Well, then how about giving it to Sesshomaru?"
" 'Well how about giving it to sesshomaru-' " He mocked, making his voice high and squeaky. "Are you crazy? Theres no way Sesshomaru is ever going to have my sword! Father left it to ME. He left Sesshomaru the little 'healy sword', Tenseiga, and besides, he already has two, remember the Tokijin?"
"Oh yeah." She sighed. "Well, its just that I dont know if youre ready to have a baby.. I mean, its a lot of work..."
"So? I can handle anything."
"Im not kidding, its a lot of responsability... Are you sure you want to take on something like this?"
"Yes." InuYasha stepped closed to her and sheathed the Tetsusaiga. Kagome blushed.
"Alright, InuYasha. Uhm, do you want to do it tonight? Since were already alone, and all."
"Sure." He stood still, staring at her, as if scrutinizing her. They both stood, neither moving much for around two minutes.
What is he waiting for? Does he expect ME to make the first move? Kagome thought to herself. InuYasha's left ear started to twitch and then he broke the silence.
"Are you doing it?"
"What?"
"Knitting a sweater."
"Huh?"
"Making a kid! Are you making the kid? My heir? You said you were going to, but I dont see anything happening." InuYasha tilted his head at her. Kagome was dumbfounded. He couldnt be serious.
"No..."
"Well why not? You said you would."
"Well, I.. InuYasha, I cant make a kid by myself, it takes two people to make a baby."
"Oh. Should I get the old woman?" Kagome stepped closed to InuYasha, there was now only three inches between them.
"No. It takes a male and a female. Werent you ever explained this?"
"No. Both of my parents died when I was a kid, remember?"
"Oh, Sorry.. Yes.. Uhm, well...." Kagome blushed crimson. No sense in beating about the bush.. She put her hand lightly on InuYasha's crotch.
"What are you doing?!" Inu Yasha exclaimed, looking down.
"To make a baby, you have to put this, in here" She took his hand and placed it between her legs. InuYashas face was now crimson as well. He was starting to get a nosebleed and he got a strange look on his face. Kagome got worried.
"InuYasha.... InuYasha?" She poked him in the chest and he fell over, in a dead faint.
