San Clemente Skate Park
San Clemente Skate Park is a pretty good park.  Unfortunately it is a huge bust.  If you go there any time between 9:00am to 9:00pm you will most likely get a ticket.  I heard of tickets being given out that were any where between 50 and 500 dollars,  and sometimes confiscation of your bike.  A few weeks ago I heard of someone that got arrested, a $500 fine, and got their bike taken away.  I am sure that is against some civil rights law.  No one should get arrested for riding at a public park that was designed for their use.  We are planning to change this situation by speaking to the parks and rec commision at an upcoming meeting.  If you would like to help us with this, please e-mail me at [email protected].  If you would like information about getting access to a park in your town please visit:
