There is a monthly sign up sheet for cooking.
You DO NOT have to cook an entire meal, only a course.  There are two volunteers for main course.  If you choose main course you and the other decide on the cuisine.
You can choose main course, vegetable, dessert, salad & bread.
The meal is due at 6pm. Call for directions. Please, use disposable containers.  If you need, there is an area for children to play while you prepare the finishing touches on a meal.
You do not have to cook.  You can buy a roasted chicken, or anything that you have volunteered for.
The cost of your course is up to you.  The average seems to be $10.
Plan on serving 25.
Also, they would prefer NO pizza, spaghetti, or lasagna. These are meals they sometimes cook themselves.

Why:
Imagine being so worried about your ill child that you don't have time for a well-balanced meal, so you eat out of vending machines day after day.
Imagine how you would feel if you came back to the Ronald McDonald House after a long day at the hospital to find a home cooked meal waiting for you and volunteers ready to help lighten the load you carry.
