| Field trips are fun and exciting adventures that provide lasting memories for all girl scouts. They can be tied into badge work, service projects or done just purely for the fun of it. | ||||||||||||
| Before you and your troop set off on an adventure, everything must be in place. You must be sure that you have all the proper paperwork, supplies and people to make your outing fun and safe. Prior to any troop field trip or activity, it is extremely important to review your Safety-Wise handbook, paying special attention to page 57 which lists those activities that are not permitted as Girl Scout program activities. | ||||||||||||
| Important SU 38 Requirement: If a trip will take your troop out of the Santa Clara County or is an over-night trip, a SU 38 Troop Camp/Day Trip Application(also known as the "green form")must be completed and filed prior to the trip. This form is only available at Service Unit 38 Leader meetings or on-line at this site. | ||||||||||||
