"All is well and all will be well in the garden."

--Jerzy Kosinski, Being There

Hi! I'm Lynne, and you've just entered my garden.

No, that's not really me in the painting. It's Edouard Manet's "Young Girl on the Threshold of the Garden at Bellevue," which he painted in 1880. But the mood he has captured in the painting is the one I hope to recreate in my garden here.

Just as the girl in the painting does, I like to come here to rest and relax, and I hope you'll look upon this garden the same way. We all need a place of quiet and serenity in a world that is all too noisy and busy at times.

Here, you'll find some of the things in which I take refuge. I always enjoy meeting new people, and if you'd like to meet me, I'll see you at the garden gate. Or perhaps you'd like to meet some of my friends as they chat under the big tree. If a storm is threatening, feel free to take shelter in the gazebo.

And because this is a garden, something is always growing. There are many things in my garden, and I hope you experience a bit of serendipity as you wander on through.

Help yourself to a chair here under the maple tree. The iced tea is cold, the sun is warm, and the birds are singing.

I'm so happy you could join me. Welcome to my garden!

Fair Warning

This is a transgendered site. There are things here that are suitable for all, but parts of my garden do include discussions of transgenderism and associated topics. If this makes you uncomfortable and you'd like to go somewhere else entirely, you can probably find a neighbourhood more to your liking at Geocities.

There is no pornography or erotica here. If that is what you're looking for, I'm afraid you'll have to look for it elsewhere.

Which part of the garden would you like to explore?

My garden has a number of places you can explore. Here are some of them:

  • At the Gate This is where you can meet me, and find out a little more about your hostess.

  • Under the Tree This is where I relax with my friends. Perhaps you'd like to join us.

  • In the Gazebo When the rains and the winds threaten, I take shelter in my little summer house. Here, you'll find some poems and things that provide me with a sense of calm during the storm.

  • The Playground This is where I write about things I find humourous or interesting. Sometimes light, sometimes serious; but since I find writing is fun, "The Playground" seems an appropriate name.

  • The Garden Shed It's a lot of work to build a garden. In the shed, you'll find links to the sites and people who supplied me with the materials to build mine, along with my thanks.
