The Otherworld of Wanda Méchant!

Hi! I'm Wanda, a CD/TV living in Calgary, Alberta who very much enjoys being herself whenever she gets the chance to go out on the town and party! Wanda has been active in the Calgary CD/TV community since she made her first public appearance in 1991.

Two clubs provide for the needs of the Cross Dresser in this town - Illusions and the Serenity Sisters. Serenity could be characterised as being more on the "conventional" side of the cross dressing community, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere for cross dressers and their spouses.
Many of the Serenity girls also belong to Illusions. The Illusions club welcomes members from all colours of the CD/TV/TS "rainbow". I have met so many friendly, caring, and beautiful people at both Illusions and Serenity, and I owe much to them for helping me to become the Wanda I am today.

This picture was taken at our Christmas party in 1998. It was my first night out with my new wig. A little more sassy, a little more modern? What do you think?

This was taken at a weekend getaway in Banff with a polaroid camera - not bad quality. I am partial to black, short leather skirts, and 10 denier lycra ... and I do like this new wig!

The Gay community is very supportive of us girls, and we are welcomed in all of the city's gay and lesbian bars, and a number of other "engendered-friendly" bars and nightclubs. The favourite club of the Serenity girls is the Midnight Cafe, a "people" bar.

... and yes, I like Chopin.
