CROSSDRESSER OF THE YEAR 2004

Yes, I always seem to go with a movie star and a movie role, as opposed to somebody in the "real world" who has shown his feminine side (or her masculine side). But can you blame me for selecting THIS beauty...

It's Billy Crudup who isn't duded up in the least....he's playing a Shakespearean actor back in the days when women were not allowed on stage. In the movie "Stage Beauty," he is having bi-sexual love affairs and this drama queen is facing a real crisis: the King has decided to allow REAL women to perform in plays! He huffs that there's really no talent involved in having a woman play a woman, but...well...see the movie and see what happens

Runner-up goes to Gael Garcia Bernal, another handsome guy who decided to flirt with his femme self in a film. He said that he found it VERY sensual, and that he practiced the art of hip movements, and was amazed at the "power" women have with their clothes and their bodies. You said it, Gael....(nice first name)....

Honorable Mention (since we have no photo of him) to Simon Le Bon of DURAN DURAN. According to www.contactmusic.com posted in July of 2004, "the 45-year-old confesses he fantasised about wearing movie legend RITA HAYWORTH's clothes when he was young, which made him unpopular with his peers, who regarded him as a homosexual. He says, "When I was a kid, I wanted to be in Rita Hayworth's skirt. I had dreams about climbing inside women's clothing. I loved it. I gravitated towards naughty boys at school. But it was a problem for me because they regarded me as a bit of a poof. I wasn't very good at fighting."
