My idol was not a famous athlete or movie star,
but my simple yet complex best friend named David.
Very few people have the power to influence lives on the level that David did.
Some will question whether he is up above or down below today,but one thing is for certain,
he is in a place where he has to suffer no more from a disease that had ravaged his life, and the people who loved him.
So many miss him and his way of doing things.
I am forever changed because of him and because of him I am who I am today.

Frank Pierce was Emperor VIII of the Royal, Sovereign and
Imperial Court of the Single Star of Houston, Inc. He lived
with HIV/AIDS for more than 10 years. He was a good friend and
alot of fun to party with. He will be sadly missed.
Frank was an Emperor who did not disappear when he stepped down, he worked hard and battled to the end.
Our love goes with you Frank.
